Not quite. Because in Soviet Russia threads bump you. Seriously, though, he may have been referring more to the attitude during said bump, which could possibly be considered juvenile and unhelpful. Just as a tip, some surreptitious (read:sneaky) ways of bumping the thread would be to express gratitude to the author for the work he's doing or to offer help. Those tend to motivate the author. Just typing "bump" into a thread, asking for an update, starting an argument, demanding work from the author, and everything like such as isn't generally considered a productive contribution, and in some cases can actually serve to demotivate the author. It can turn our favorite hobby into a chore, especially on a long-term project. And the last thing we want to do is hound someone until they give up in frustration. Keep in mind that different authors share progress on a different schedule. Some post frequent small updates, others work in obscurity until they share large updates, and just about everyone gets hit by real life and lurks (or even disappears) for a stretch of time.

Ha-ha, funny. But think before say Sorry, I didn't mean to offend. My brother actually lived in Russia for a couple of years and got me interested in the country, so it's not like it's a complete unknown to me. But I will admit that I don't always check for possible hurt feelings before posting a lame joke. It was mostly intended to soften any harshness of the preceding post and the following explanation, anyway, rather than making a political statement.

I guess it's dead/suspended? theonlycorey completely disappeared, and I doubt anybody else is going to resume it soon. Even providing a complete dialogue dumper didn't seem to give this project a major boost.

Which is a shame. Seeing the main characters reappearing in Innocent Sin made me so eager to play a decent version of this >_> Having a script dumper ready and no one to translate the script makes it even more of a waste. Come on, translators, where are you? :'(

I do not make a habit of this, but can someone fill me in on this topic? I am short of time right now, but it was my understanding that the project was moving ahead, fairly well. I left for quite some time, and had to give up being part of this project. If no one is willing I will gladly pick it up, I had always intended to help, but family issues prevented me from doing so.
