an appology gone horribly wrong...

So I missed a day or two of haikus. To make it up, I decided to do a whole bunch at once, in some sort of story. I uploaded it all yesterday to the Haikus page, but, in case you want to see it all together, here it is. It's pretty bad, I think. Rather, it starts well, but goes crappy at the end. Meh. I like the pictures, at least.

DUCKY
a haiku epic in three trilogies

Part I: Birth

from the depths of this
arising to the unknown
the unlikely grows

splitting forming grown
seeing out and hating this
nobelness unpaid

bounded unfairly
surroundings too harsh and bland
heroes must travel

Part II: Life

escape will be made
looking to the wind for aid
this is in the past

the clouds are binding
none to hold back the young will
far beyond the rest

the distance to home
countless lengths and fathoms far
what evil awaits

Part III: Death

foreign shapes ahead
sparkling full of interest
full of ignorance

evil abundance
curiousity and pride
mixing undoing

moving too fast now
chased lost caught locked starved scarred doomed
to try it again

END

watch the fire twirling...

I want a jaunty cap. I don't know if i can pull one off, though. I mean, I want jaunty, but not french. I want people to be able to pass me on a road and say, "I do declare, that is quite the jaunty cap you are wearing." I mean, how cool would that be? As far as I can tell, the key to having a 'jaunty' cap, is to have a cap that 'stupid', but still looks 'ok' on you. It says, "hey, that guy's hat is kinda stupid, but he's wearing it anyway. He knows something. He must be cooler than I." Yeah. That's what I'm going for. Definately not french, though. Maybe a beenie of some sort. I dunno. Where does one even go to buy a jaunty cap? Is there, like, a cap store? With a jaunty department? I know EB and GameStop don't have a jaunty section. Nor do they have a great cap selection. I'm in way over my head with this one.
