There's no reason to dig up an old topic just to say "is it done yet?" Please don't do it again. :police:
i'm well aware that i'll get scolded again, but after being silent for many months i think it's ok to just put the topic on top for some news? :angel: please be patient redcomet, eien, i was want to know if everything is still proceding or not after more than half a year. thanks, karsten |

I don't think there's a 100% complete fan translation for any SaGa game yet. \ isn't romancing sage 3 complete? or was i imagining that patch being 100% yet it has some weird text that isn't complete? Edit: yay typo @_@ |

i apologize, i'm well aware you stated it as a mod, but i just tought that after 8 months it was ok just to ask if everything is still going on... i'm a mod on a forum with more than 2000 people and i've learned to use reason beyond some rules sometimes. also i tought that since many people are interested in the project in case of any answer it would have been better to have it in public form, or at least better that anooying eien by pm...
in any case, sorry it won't happen again.

I'm not familiar with forum manners, so sorry if this topic is too old to be revived, but I wanted to thank Eien.
I've been playing Romancing Saga 2 and it's a really awesome game! One of my all-time favorites (of any series), up there with RS3 and Minstrel Song (I'm a huge RS fan). But RS2 is unique even among RS games, with a sweet reincarnation/lineage dealie that is AWESOME. Thank you for picking up the translation, Eien. A game this classic should by all means be available in English!

Wow, I can't believe this topic is still alive. ^^ For those of you who asked for an update, I'm still hard at work on the RS2 script. I'm over halfway through, though, and most of what's slowing me down is proofreading and consistency checking. Also, after speaking with Gideon, we've decided to ditch the different speech patterns used in the game. In short, it's just not feasible to include them in the English version. Also, they would make playtesting a bitch.  |
