Wouldn't that just create a similar problem in the opposite direction? And how come no one brought this up to me when I originally posted these shots months ago? >.>
Nope. Moving the window 8px to the right would put the far text edges on both sides of the screen at 16px away. Right now it's at 8px and 24px. The little window that says "Status" is already at 16px from the edge, though. But like I said, just a nit.

Hacking 3D games is time consuming, to say the least. I think most people who played OoT remember this area, though I edited the landscape a lot(big pictures, thumbnails): Wow, awesome! Link's holding an umbrella now?

That was the easy part. A model swap from Animal Crossing(same model system) and a pointer edit(overwrote a different model than the sword). If you look closely, his hand's missing. This is because the game developers weren't smart enough to make the hand a separate model/set from the weapons.
Right now, I'm trying to edit the exit from Kakariko Village to the Skulltula house to go to Link's house, and the exit from Link's house to the forest to go to Kakariko village. Of course the only tool that there is to do this doesn't work on my computer, so I'll need to look up the location for the exits.

Oh snap... So each time Link changes swords, his hand changes along with the sword?

They did this as an easy way to avoid crashing polygons. It is smart in a time saving way.

It looks identical on an unedited ROM, but yes. They did this as an easy way to avoid crashing polygons. It is smart in a time saving way.
If you mean that they intersect, the game does this a lot, and every time with the items. If not, could you explain? On another note, I finished the tomb landscape. It's not very major, but the way that I did it makes it pretty hard if you're new to emulation and can't control very well. If you fall, you're dead. And a few WIP shots:

I assumed you meant all weapons. Edit: My second guess would be for more fluid animation on the sword, but that seems strange, meh. I know they had a reason for it though, you don't model anything more in 3D than you have to, this is more true in these older games.

Wareya, what do you intend to do? I spot ReDeads in Kakariko village, so my imagination's already brimming with Link fighting hordes of ReDeads and saving the town from Zelda-styled zombie apocalypse.

Think that the world is pretty much ending. I'm thinking of having link go through modified Dodongo's Cavern and Forest Temples. Haven't done much map editing recently, but at least I got the Stalchild spawner in Hyrule Field to spawn Wolfos. That'll come in handy in some places.

Don't get too excited, I was just testing text file imports. I can't say whether or not the actual stage setup will be finished at this time. Even if it does get finished, it won't be nearly as complex as my last GoldenEye offering.

The J2e Translation's 8x16 font class changed! Old Class: Hideously Eye-Bleeding (top) New Class: Decent and Somewhat Pleasant (bottom) New font is taken from the Seiken Densetsu 3 translation, which I believe is simply the DOS font. I kept the exclaimation mark and question mark the same though, as you can see. EDIT: Corrected thanks to CaseCrash.

16x8 (or is it 8x16?)
8x16, as it's always x, y, z. x = 8, y = 16 Also, nice font change, way more readable.
