Crazy, I for one like the above screenshot. It might be the color of the text that's throwing the eyes off for some people, not for me tho.

I feel like it's been forever since I contributed to this thread, and thus: FFIV script time! (Script translation by throughhim)     FFIV is pretty versatile, or so I found out today. It has a routine that will help immensely. It has an auto text-wrapping system in place! Thoughts? ~DS |

Yeah, it's of the ET version. However, when I get a full translation, I intend on putting my hacks inside FFIV as well. Why? Well, compare these screenshots: j2e:   My Hack:   It's obvious one is an improvement over the other. =D ~DS |

Nitpick: DS, you might want to move the window (first screenshot) 8 pixels to the right. If that were displayed on a real CRT TV, some of that text in the lower left would probably be cut off.
But yeah, it does look better localized than the comparison shots.

It is for the most part, but not when you reach the Lunar Subterrane (unless you obtain the overpowered Ribbons, which is another story). Wouldn't that just create a similar problem in the opposite direction? And how come no one brought this up to me when I originally posted these shots months ago? >.>

Finally got some time to work on this... don't expect anything big soon, though.  It's amazing how much the code improved for J. This one is much uglier... |
