To be honest, the only name change in all of Final Fantasy that annoys me is Final Fantasy IV's Gilbert/Edward, and that's mainly because I'm a consistency fiend (Legend of Mana features a character named Gilbert who is an obvious reference to the FFIV character, species aside).
There's also the annoying fact that Edge's given name is Edward. Meh.

"Times are tough."
I wish I could find that, or the flash, but I think the web-comic is dead.

Ryusui, it won't help if you reply to this idiot. It only clutters the board, kthx. I wish I had my banning powers back Edit: After seeing the mess in other topics too I've deleted all of his posts and direct replys. We don't have to keep this shit, seriously. Nightcrawler get out the banhammer.

Unforgiven called person is this and like translated text read want to. (he was griping about translators who don't translate games word for word, particularily venting against the FF6A translators for putting in a joke about unofficial translations, in place of some unimportant dude's text)

Yeah, by deleting those posts, this thread has now become a confusing mess. I didn't even get to review what it was he said.

i couldnt care less about the kefka vs cefka issue, but its good to know the official translators are aware of the fan-translation-scene. who made the offical ff6a translation, anyway? very cool joke, btw.

That Orthros getting left as Ultros in FFVIA despite appearing with his proper name in FF:DoS, but it doesn't annoy quite as much. Actually, they're both wrong, but "Ultros" is closer to the truth. The Japanese is オルトロス, which is actually "Oltros." DoS got the first letter right, but that's pretty much it. See here for proof: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FFTTv-zZPyE
