Is that screenshot for real? O_O;
Suddenly, "son of a sandworm" has been vindicated.
(The point I got from a GameFAQs topic is that Kefka says something...silly in the original. My suggestion? "Just you wait! I'll give you SUCH A PINCH for this!")

classic, I don't understand why it matters with such little details, I'm more for overall good reading than nitpicking at personal preferences. Why is it that the 'C' is so sought after anyways?

According to the readme that's how his name appears in the Japanese documents. It's a moot point since Japan doesn't have that great a track record when it comes to English.

It's a pretty unintuitive pronunciation for English-speakers, though. >_>
It's no different from how spellings get changed in foreign-language translations from English so that the pronunciation gets kept the same.

It also made my day XD In portuguese, and some other latin-derived languages, "Cefca" has the sound of "Sefka", because the letter "C", when before "e" or "i", has the sound of "S". I always thought "Cefca" was downright silly

Awesome!
Being Brazilian, I really prefer it as "Kefka", as our nice friend above me explained.
