I noticed all the slight music changes and pallette changes as well. I haven't found one of those that I don't like, I really like some of the additional dialog too, it REALLY adds, but some of it I'm still not sure on but that's just opinion stuff so EXCELLENT STUFF.
also when you get the "Last Ray of Hope" and it is "Pandora's Charm" in your items menu it has no stats and no one can equip it. Did that just not get finished for the demo?

A: I accidently got them backwards while giving them to you. The evil tendancies of me usually taking the genji glove over the gauntlet in the original. My bad. B: I might've forgotten to implement the stats for the charm. In which case it's a bunch of 0's. *goes to find a brick wall again*

*Hands Lenophis a brick wall* Anyways, overall, it was a good demo, if a bit short. Keep up the good work.

Oh, btw. I noticed the Thief's Shard that Locke wears says in the description that it changes Steal to Plunder.. actually, it changes Attack to Plunder.

First off, let me say I am very impressed with what you guys are doing, you're doing something awesome with FFVI. =D
But, as most have, I found plenty of bugginess. Nothing horrible, but stuff worth mentioning. I'll keep the things that others have mentioned out as much as I can.
- In the beginning, "Blizzard Beam" shows up as "Tlizzard Beam"
- When the mogs show up to help Locke out, the B dash function stops working, but that's probably for good reason.
- When you leave Narshe, the flying monsters you fight are named "Dark Wingn". Is that supposed to be "Dark Wing"?
- During battle, sometimes the selection hand will get cut off when you select "Attack".
- I'm pretty sure you changed Mithril Knives to Daggers. However, you can still get Mithril Knives in the cave to South Figaro, and they have no attack power and are worth 1 gil.
- When you use the espers to learn spells and such, no Magic Points show up after battles, nor do any messages to show you've learned spells. Was that intentional?
- When you walk into South Figaro, the display says "th Floor". Same for the Chocobo Barn.
- When you go into the South Figaro item shop, it's display is Blank.
- The Pub in South Figaro displays as "hop".
- When you go into the Mountain where you get Sabin, it displays as "garo Castle".
- Is there a reason why Mithril Lances randomly appeared in my inventory? I know you said this patch gives you some free stuff, but I got one for no reason, then six more appeared in my inventory.
- I noticed that no character (or, at least Sabin/Edgar, from what I could tell) has a right or down dash animation.
- The Returner Hidout displays as "oor".
- When you say no to Banon as Terra, and talk to the Returner to get the "Ray of Hope". The game says that you got "Pandora's Charm", but in the inventory it displays as "Ray of Hope".
That's where I stopped playing. Great job overall though. ^_~

Stupid mistake on my part. It figures, I'm the one that made it change Attack into Plunder, yet I can't write the item description correctly What you didn't notice is that when it was inserted the indent character was used instead of the quotation mark.

Yeah, I forgot to LAVISH THE PRAISE on guys, because the stats, characters, and battle setup is simply THE BEST EVER for this game or others. Seriously this is great, also the additional insight in the dialog is great.
DS already said this but there seems to be some trouble with the dash function

- The Pub in South Figaro displays as "hop".
- When you go into the Mountain where you get Sabin, it displays as "garo Castle".
- The Returner Hidout displays as "oor". All of these sound like you patched to a bad copy of the rom. Try again with a clean rom. - Is there a reason why Mithril Lances randomly appeared in my inventory? I know you said this patch gives you some free stuff, but I got one for no reason, then six more appeared in my inventory. Yes. - I noticed that no character (or, at least Sabin/Edgar, from what I could tell) has a right or down dash animation. Due to the "B Button dash" being added, this bug was also included: Sprint Shoes + Dash leaves characters in action poses -
In FF6 PS, you almost always have the function of Sprint Shoes by default. You can activate it by holding down the O button in towns, dungeons, etc. You can have the Sprint Shoes too if you don't like holding a button down, and you can also add Sprint Shoes and dash together for an even faster running speed. However, this unveils a very minor bug; when you combine Sprint Shoes and dash, whenever you stop moving, your character will sometimes stand still in a walking pose instead of the traditional standing pose. This has no other effects, but is still worth inclusion. - When you say no to Banon as Terra, and talk to the Returner to get the "Ray of Hope". The game says that you got "Pandora's Charm", but in the inventory it displays as "Ray of Hope". Noted in a previous post already. - When the mogs show up to help Locke out, the B dash function stops working, but that's probably for good reason. Yes. In the original game, you probably noticed that your sprint shoes never worked in Narche Raid II (when Kefka is attempting to get Tritoch at the snowfields). Same thing here. - When you use the espers to learn spells and such, no Magic Points show up after battles, nor do any messages to show you've learned spells. Was that intentional? Intentional for the moment. It's another carry-over from the original game. If you used a game genie or other such shady methods to get gear you normally couldn't get (you know who you are) you would still gain MP in battles even though the game never told you. - During battle, sometimes the selection hand will get cut off when you select "Attack". Emulator problem. Not ours. Thanks for the input.

I gotta say, I love all the stealing goodness, and being able to plunder off the bat. It'd needed to as I find myself binging on potions. I also love the balancing, Terra being weak is tough, but it's good, because as a trade off she is a kickass mage. I like how the spells default to attack all too. Very cool.

Why are people still using older versions of ZSNES even though 1.51 is out? I swear...

Ah, I'll try grabbing a new copy of the rom. Why are people still using older versions of ZSNES even though 1.51 is out? I swear...
God only knows Was that directed toward me? I'm using the newest download of ZSNES on the web, unless they did an update in the last few weeks. ~DS

I ask because that bug was fixed as of 1.50. 1.50 has been out since December of last year.

Which bug, the hand bug during battle? It's probably my rom, I'm using (probably) the most updated ZSNES.

Yes, that bug. Go into the About dialog in your copy of ZSNES. If it says 1.50 or 1.51, it's a problem with your ROM. If it doesn't, it's a problem with your head.
