You might wanna code a utility for that anyway, in case somebody else has that problem...

Just a suggestion.

I'm not entirely sure on FEIDIAN.

FEIDIAN's documentation is sparse on inserting a bmp and color tiles. Even if it could, it won't spit out the palette in SNES format along with a tilemap to use an optimized tileset. That's where pc2snes earned it's stripes in my opinion. That saved a lot of time.

I would be interested to see how FEIDIAN would handle it, but I don't feel like investing any more time in this. Using FEIDIAN is a pain normally. GUI FEIDIAN like utility w/ preview windows anyone? Wink

I'd like a FEIDIAN GUI. That would kick ass. Wouldn't be too hard to code. I don't like the fact that feidian requires php to be installed though. Going through the work to code the interface would probably be as much work as coding your own tile program.

I propose a program with a graphical interface like tilemolester but simpler to use and and export feature where you can export the current settings. The settings could them be used to import your bmp image via command line with a bundled command line version. That way you could design in the editor but still insert with a simple batch. Now that would be the ultimate tile program.
