It's obvious he didn't hack that... He most likely took a screencap of it, selected black as the transparency and put the sky image below the sreencap. ;D

lol yeah maybe. the ips file was a joke. its not really a ips file  i tried today to find the background setting, but not much progress... i finished the gbc edition, i have it, the original catridge. but i prefer the classic one, the nes one. and the game is harder than others versions. anyway, if its true byuu, send me the hack or ips file and i send you money in your paypal account, but for the english version not japanese. |

there should be a tutorial for that, very cool, I have a buddy who's upped the resolution of most of his systems, I'm not good with hardware so I don't know all the ins and outs, but it was cool.

It is not the case. I would use this change and the results am very fucking applicable. ZD's attachment feature is a broken piece of shit: Try here. It's a darker blue than what you were asking for, because anything lighter looks like crap due to a lot of enemies using the BG color for outlining. Want to change it anyway? Do a compare to a vanilla DWIII ROM and see what byte I changed. :p |

i did 53 different color background for dragon warrior 3. but i think some of them are same.
note: youre really a nice guy X silver thanks again, without you it was impossible for me. even that i tried a lot since 3 days , replacing 0f for color code, im was a little tired to tried it.
