I'm not sure about swap discs, but any mod chip worth its salt will let you do that. My DMS4-Lite does. Well, did until my PS2's laser decided it didn't like CDs any more . -_-

As I mentioned above, the only thing mine has issues with (as far as I recall) was a couple games that detect modchips for the PS1.  Imports otherwise play fine for both PS1 and PS2.

Breaker Pro is the swap disc for PS1 games on your PS2. It actually works on PS1's as well.
