Oh. I've heard of Ashita no Joe before, just never as Tomorrow's Joe. I feel dumb now. It's fine. I was going to use the title for the original NeoGeo version - Legend of Success Joe - but I decided against it. :p satsu made a title screen for me, though. I'll probably post it with the patch, since it's much better than mine.

I did? That must have been ages ago. Can you post it again? I have no idea how it might have looked.

Edit: In case anyone's wondering where that title came from, read this post. This game is a partial port of this NeoGeo game. Lots of stuff was taken out, but the game engine was improved quite a bit.

Everyone and their grandmothers call the game Legend of Success Joe. Anyway, Gid said this title was better for the game, so I'm thinking of swapping out mine for this. Thoughts?

The one I mentioned on that link I posted two replies ago. And that title is AWFUL. satsu's is better. Hell even mine is better. Any thoughts on whether I should add satsu's title or mine? (And should I move this discussion to my personal projects thread?)

i wouldn't mind learning how to use vectoring, the classes we had at Highschool just taught the very basics of Photoshop, most of the things i know, i've learned from years of messing up, i have an old 5.0.2 version of photoshop, but i'm just to cheap to go buy a new one.
Does anyone have a good online guide for pixel art?
Be happy you were even able to learn that. Although I consider myself lucky to have been able to learn to use Visual Basic (in Highschool) even VB isn't the greatest programming language ever... i took a 'comp tech' class, i learned how to ayer an image, and how to make a powerpoint presentation... the best thing EVER in that class: Photoshopping a pic of me, at the beach, with godzilla coming at me (looked damn good to, wish i had it still.) we never learned any basic, never learned how to send an SOS in basic, but i can try: 10101 or -_-_- anyways here are the mockups, i'll also edit the other post and add them: 1) 2) 3) however after mocking them up, i must say 2 does look rather nice seeing the english title screen in game is going to look awsome, the background waves and the light gets bent as if it were underwater. If you haven't seen i i suggest finding the ROM and checking it out. long page is looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooongI'd say something in-between #1 and 2 would be best. I think Eternal in #2 is too stretched out, and Eternal 1 is too squished. In-between the black lines, I think, would be best.

No offense man, the subtitle portion of your title screen is virtually unreadable... That would make steer far away from touching your hack.
