I don't like that the enemies are harder to kill, but I see that you added the ability to keep a weapon after a enemy dies, so I guess it's ok if theres enough of those around.

The other comment is, you should change the text "bottle, knife, blah, blah" to "armed". Cause it's graphics change when enemies die. Or perhaps just make one graphic for all the weapons and name them all that one weapon. I'm gonna play thru this more tho to see what else is different.

Are you finished playing yet? Smiley

As for the weapons thing, I don't want everything to be the same weapon.

How can I change the way sprites are used? Does that involve ASM hacking?

Sorry, I'll get to it when I get some time off.

Well, playing it, I can't get past the extra health given to enemies. DD3 has my least favorite battle system of the DD games and I didn't care for more energy for all of them. If you need to do that then there should be some offset, either less enemies, or more damaging moves. And that keep weapons should be removed, since it's broken and probably can't be fixed. Kudos to you for putting forth the effort to create a DD hack tho.

I can't motivate myself to play that far. If you want to revise your patch to let enemies die in 3 knockdowns instead of 4 I might be able to.
