http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pSDI2yQ7LsM - Not the smartest idea to post videos on Youtube for a Chrono Trigger hack, but meh, I don't really care much as of right now.  I'll take it down in a week at the most just incase though.

WOAH!!! Justin, Your Schala-Project is still alive? I thought that after the C&D for Chrono Compendium... OK, I will try to keep my enthusiasm down until I can get a more definite answer. Wink

Yea, it's been alive for awhile still.  Just never had the inspiration to work on it again until now.  I'm working hours on end to get the Dream Devourer part of the game done, seeing as that's the one I'm most inspired to do at the moment.  Then there comes the really annoying part of getting the new side-quests and endings for this.

Edit: Well that's a bitch slap the face.  I load the rom back up to check my event code, only to find over half of it has been randomly deleted.  I'm going to be spending 4+ hours now trying to fix everything..ugh..what a start to a day.

You have no idea how happy this makes me. I always loved the work You presented in the past and after some of the videos disappeared from Your youtube channel, I thought that this was it for Your work as well. I am really glad that this is not the case! Wink
Any idea why part of the event code said “bye bye”? I wish I could offer any help, but since I know so little about romhacking I would just create a bigger mess than before.
Anyway, You just revived a huge fan of Your work. Wink (That means I am now a Zombie? Pretty cool, huh?)

Probably something I did on accident when I was trying to futz around with something else.  I re-did the event and it looks even better now.  I'm on the final bit of the Dream Devourer event before the battle starts.  I'll probably get that done and work on the AI of it soon enough.

Ha!  First zombie fan!  But most of this stuff wouldn't even be possible if it wasn't for the previous help I got from MANY members at the Compendium before SE went psychotic.

Good to hear that the lost code did not demotivate You, and it even turned out better than before.
Yes, the furious fist of the s-word smashing down on Kajar Labs (ergo altruistic and creative fans) was a real shame. With that action the s-word lost me as a potential buyer of their future products for good. At the same time it is great to see that some, like You, still keep up that “dream”. Wink

1:23 - The game uses Magus' sprite sometimes?

1:24 - When you select "Turn back for now", wouldn't it be better to let one of the other characters argue with that choice, instead of just opening the dialog again (unless that doesn't happen automatically)?

2:28 - Who's saying that line?

Also, the order of lines after that... how about this?

- Magus: "Grr... I'm not finished with you yet!"
- party pops out of the orb and faces upwards
- Marle: "Magus!"
- Magus gets hit
- Marle: "Isn't that... Lavos?" ("Why is Schala with it" removed?)
- Schala: "W-what?! Myself... in Lavos? What is this?!"
- Magus: "I believe I told you... not to interfere!"
- Schala2: "Let all that once was fade into oblivion! I welcome the end of existence."
- Magus: "No, Schala!" etc.
- Magus gets hit, party goes upwards to Lavos
- Schala2: "Embrace your destruction! It is inevitable!"
- fight
