Justin, thank You for the video, this was really exciting!
When Lucca and that villager started to move that boulder... at first I thought they would just push it back and forth.
As for suggestions on the dungeon. How about making it more black-and-whiteish? The whole “when-I'm-sick-I-don't-care-for-colours-topos”.

And about that personal project thread. I'd love to see that, as long as it is not spread around to other forums extensively. The CE-trauma is still working somewhere inside of me...

I was originally going to have the boulder be a sprite of it's own and they'd move that, but for whatever reason on that ONE map, the boulder sprite just wouldn't load.  So I had to bump it into a custom tile for that tile set.  I'm very lucky too, there was exactly 16 tiles left, perfect amount of what was needed.

I'm holding off slightly on the project for now for college reasons, plus there's a chance with the new thing coming up, I'll have to redo the entire project from start again for organization reasons, plus for certain reasons that will be seen if it can get finished ;]

Oh, it will. It's just a matter of when. And your project will be that much more awesome because of it.

Well, it's not just for our project, it's for anyone's in general..It'll definitely be a breakthrough that has been needed for years.  Plus really, none of this could be done without you Mauron.

I'm definitely redoing the big dialogue font... I'm taking whoever's comment about the fonts not matching to heart; I'll PM you with it when I finish, Justin.

That's true, but your project will probably be the first to demonstrate it, which just adds to the awesome.

I'm tempted to say what this is, and make a video or screenshots of my own, but I'll let you decide that one. You're the only one actively using it right now.

Oh by all means go for it.  It's mostly your work, so you do what you want with it.  I'm game for anything.  [ I think i will break this off into a personal project thread, there's quite a bit of discussion for this ]

Nice to see your picking up that project,I saw the old thread and it looked pretty good,is it going to have the same story and characters or is it completely started over?

Same story and some of the same characters.  Things were being changed as it was "progressing".  The only thing now, I completely lost where I put my storyline changes and stuff so I'll be redoing most of this, but I have a pretty clear idea of what I'm going to do for a preview.  Just need to find or create a new damn tileset that would work for the futuristic look.

Justin's not the only one hacking Chrono Trigger.

As I said in the video notes, this is nothing final. I wanted a video out, and one that clearly showed Magus acting in the Tech.

I'm quite impressed by this, as Magus was my favorite character and even when the game first came out I went "Huh? Everyone have double techs except the awesome secret character? Wtf?"

Magus plays by his own rules. Nobody else’s. Not even his own.

Two, actually. Dark Eternal and Omega Flare.
