Space Colony outside:

And inside (still overworld areas):

My... pants... D8

But yea, the dirt/grass (and Link, sorta) looks out of place with the walls and the statues.

I’m willing to extend the benefit of the doubt and imagine it’s a garden that doubles as a rec room.

You know, if you want to be particular about it, the dirt didn't really belong in the original game either. There were no visible horses or carriages, and I did not see large populations of trail blazing people wandering the countryside.... I.e. Did someone salt the earth?

Replace the dirt pathes with sidewalks. We have those at the parks around here.

I agree with Piotyr. Either that or wood chips, if you can find a way to draw them.

Or make the statues less "realistic". The grass/dirt looks like LTTP stuff, but the statues don't. See, it's the classic problem of clashing graphics.

A translator has been found, what appears to be a main script is dump and partially translated, a few ASM hacks have been done. Some nice progress for a project that was started a few days ago.

Alright, the dirt path will be removed.. now that you all mention it, I do find it doesn't really belong there. And as for the graphics clashing, I'm aware of that, I'm slowly making the necessary changes so that I get a more homogeneous style. But otherwise thanks for your comments and constructive criticisms, they can only help me in making this a nicer hack for everybody..

Personally I love the grass.  It's so out of place that it works.  I would love to see a garden in space.  In fact, why aren't there more gardens in space?
