Now that the translation's done, I handed the intro off to Deuce for editing. Here's the results: Compare that to: Tanzra's most feared and powerful demons have come together forming a legion.
Harnessing all of the underworld's power, they have raised Tanzra the Lord of Darkness.
Tanzra has sent forth these demons to destroy! ~DS How about putting the original Japanese? Looks like there was never a Tanzra to begin with and it was just thrown in there in the US version, but we'd never know! If you want me to, I can post the original Japanese. But the point is that I already translated it: ã‹ã¤ã¦ã€€ç¥žã¯ã€€æ‚ªé”ã¨ã®ã€€ãŸãŸã‹ã„ã«ã€€ã—ょã†ã‚Šã— 地上ã¯ã€€ãµãŸãŸã³ã€€äººé–“ã®åœŸåœ°ã¨ã€€ãªã£ãŸã€‚

Well, I just wanted to see if there was any mention of Tanzra in it Your translation's pretty cool. Still, how about "He knew his first task: He would topple Heaven's Castle, God's Residence"? At least use the ":", I think that fits better. :/

A lot of work went into hacking that ending text. I just hope all that's left is formatting.

While awaiting Deuce's edit of the ActRaiser 2 script, I decided to tackle one of the bugs in my FFIV code. The area location box ("Town of Baron" and such) would bug out if you loaded from SRAM. Instead of the top row being loaded with the background color of text boxes, it would be transparent instead. Also, if you talked to someone whose dialog was long, it would sometimes pick up part of the dialog and throw it up there too. Before: After: Edit: And now another, much easier to deal with bug, has been dealt with. When I expanded the magic spell names from 6 to 8 (5 to 7, without the elemental icons), the menu for casting white magic on your party broke (as the menu was only fit for the normal amount of space). Before: After: The screen's still not final. I still have to adjust "MP Cost" and insert the "Cast on whom?" message. I'll probably expand the window with that message out to match the top one, so everything looks more uniform. ~DS

DS, I'm proud of you. Why thank you. Had nothing to do with the tilemap, though. So I'm still short on knowledge about the subject. But I did figure out what was wrong, and fixed it. And since I'm doing minor repairs when needed, here's another one: Since I moved the equipment names and part names to different lines, I had room for "Right Hand" and "Left Hand" instead of "RHand" and "LHand" like before. So I threw those in. Edit: Finalized the magic casting in the main menu: ~DS

Looks good, but do you plan to move the cursor? Maybe on the character, or next to their name in the list. Looks awkward having it within the other window border.

Nope. Take a look at the original one. It was already there. I just made it more obvious by making the window a bit bigger. Edit: I edited the save menu. I've got three lines of text. How should I handle the formatting? ~DS

I kind of prefer the left-aligned one.

I was really hoping byuu's work wouldn't go to waste. I've been really waiting to see that game finished.
