And Boo doesn't Oh, but it does. There are also some DBZ games calling him Boo in plain romaji, like Super Dragonball Z.

99.99% of games use Buu as the official romanization of his name, and it's the most recognizable romanization - so it's a better choice to use 'Buu' instead of 'Boo' Also RedComet did you find any debug/hidden stuff in the rom? It'd be interesting to see if they were planning on including more characters/stages and left stuff behind, like Gotenks' voice samples in Final Bout.

He's probably going with his nomenclature anyway, so canon doesn't really matter in this case. Also, it's never a good idea to follow the US official romanizations (see: FUNamition) when DBZ is concerned. :S

Yeah, you did have it as Boo. I just like Buu better is all. Boo looks...silly.
As for hidden stuff, the only thing I've found is in-fight name graphics that say Majin Buu instead of simply Buu or Mister Buu. I suck at uncovering hidden stuff, though.

That isn't hidden or unused, actually. I'm sure it's used during story mode, when they initially call fat Boo "Majin Boo", while in VS he's referred as Mister Boo.

Shouldn't the fat buu be called "Majin Buu" and the smaller buu be called "Kid Buu" It's been a while, but here's what I recall... There were actually two versions of the fat Buu... When he first appeared, he was Majin Buu. That is to say, he was Buu fused with a couple of beings from Kaioshin's realm, which made him appear fat at that time. (He was also pretty evil, in addition to being rather pure and childlike.) Later, this fat and happy side was split away from his evil side, which created a purely good version that Satan named "Mister Buu," and also left his pure form "Buu" behind, unaffected by any fusions. So I guess they call him "Mister Buu" in the game to say that he is separated from the original Buu... That would make sense, since they can actually fight each other. "Majin Buu" is actually the same thing as Buu, but with extra fusions inside of him. So having Majin Buu versus Buu wouldn't make sense since they're the same, but Buu versus Mister Buu does since they're totally separate. (On a side note, buu is also the sound that a pig makes. Boo is cute, but it reminds me of "Boo! Did I scare you?")

Anyone know the proper way to cite the source of this text? I'm not really sure how to go about it. I was thinking Acala Vidya- Rajahs to the right of the centered text. Is that right?

Looks right. I'd put something like "-Acala", or if there's a name for that, put that in quotes, then the "-Acala" part.
Looks nice.

Acala is another name for fudo and "vidya-rajah" Rajah is a king Vidya is "wisdom". As far as texts go its a mainly oral tradition, with these sort of things written down in medallions for monks or students to see. Thats why its esoteric. Well somewhat! If I were you, I would put: - Mantra to (Fudo or Acala-Vidya Rajah) as the source. snark

Something about putting quotes around the thing at the end looks strange. ~DS
