Good job. It seems to be a great translation.

btw, about the DL screenshots in this site: http://langfandood.netfirms.com/dearlanig.html ...

what is this immoral red/blue blinking banner that keeps playing a extremely weird sound and keeps fooling who tries to click the buttons of it?

Due to the discontinuance of the great flow in Tanapag, we may never know.

A question to those who played the gamer longer than I have.

What happens if one of your commanders is defeated in a chapter? Will he be gone forever like in Fire Emblem or will he come back in the next one?

Nope, they come back in the next scenario. It's a wonderful thing if you want certain commanders to get experience, and others to disappear for a scenario, just kill 'em off. =D

Yeah, it may not be realistic that they don't stay dead, but to be honest that was one thing that really made me hate the FE series. A character you really like dies, so now you have to start the scenario over again.

It also results in Suikoden syndrome (the use of 120+ characters, who in turn have virtually no distinguishing personalities, because fuck that's a lot of people).

I totally agree, I'm glad they made things differently with Langrisser. FE was such a nice game, but it always ends up frustrating the hell out of me when one of my favourite characters gets one hit killed one enemy before I cleared the map -_-

I think what results in Suikoden syndrome is that every FE game has virtually the same classes, and every class is virtually the same.  You have healers, warriors, mages.  Variations include flyers and archers.  Which are warriors with certain advantages and weaknesses.  Thieves are basically useless except looking cute.  So basically it's a lack of distinction in characters that results in this feeling in FE.

very good job guys, I'm currently enjoying it in all it's glory. On the Fire Emblem tangent, frequent saving prevents a lot of frustration.

Now, who wants to start translating on Sega Saturn Smiley

my only gripe is with the game, and not the translation  Cry

the sprites, and portraits are so small you can barely see Urushihara's handiwork, the only part that shows something in full glory is Lushiris in the opening.

btw, this makes the second Urushihara game for SNES i think, the other being Assault Suits Valken, which had more cinematics so you could see his character designs!

I'm such a fan of hist artwork, and not because of his other artistic habits Roll Eyes the first time i saw his art was what i thought were fan arts of Assault Suits Valken, and I was all 'daayum, this is some awesome fanart', then i realized he was the character designer! then i bought Growlanser Generations! and there was more Urushihara! *dies*
