Very impressive. I hope you plan on releasing this in English, eventually.

You mean a way to restore the Supernova for other versions? Or an actual retranslation?

The actual retranslation. I only noticed a few bugs (in the item screen), but the hacking work you've done on this is superb. Plus, people have been wanting to play FF VII International in English forever!

Considering the hordes of rabid fans who wouldn't ever want a retranslation, I say no. <.< And I say retranslation because International is just a 1:1 copy of the occidental builds with only a couple of minor visual changes (i.e. statuses showing up next to the current HP indicator in battle). Also, check this out.

I'm 90% sure that most of the FF fans out there would want a retranslation. Plus, that project will likely not have all of the fancy hacks that your hack will, and it's not the PSX version.

My tools and hacks have been released already and I'm planning to keep them updated as more work is done on them. In other words, anybody can produce a retranslation or fix the current script if they want to. Seifer will probably jump on the truck and convert his PC stuff for the PSX.

Once I get the menu's and such the way I want them to be, then I'll get to work on the actual dialogue.  Right now I just want to get the basic stuff done then work on it fully.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sB92ijKIybY - Really quick ASM hack.  Just NOP'd out a check so you can switch to Zero in Megaman X3 and not be forced to switch back to X when entering any boss door.

Check out the pc versions mod already on this site. It does the same thing and also lets you use sub weapons as zero. I would love it if you would release an snes version of the same hack (You got it half way done).
