I would gladly pay someone to translate my fav game or some such stuff, but the sad reality is I don't have the money that it would actually cost(At least in my mind). Like I would gladly donate up to 200 dollars to hack innocent sin or smt if but the reality is the time and know how it takes to do those two games would warrent a much larger check. Also theres not many people I would trust with my money to actually get it done, and then theres that whole legality of it all thing.
Now donations I have done in the past and will do again.
I have come to understand that paying someone to romhack a game(Possibley hundards of hours of work) something like 200 dollars is a ripoff to the person you are paying because they could use that time working for 10 bucks an hour somewhere making much more, or they could be doing their own endevors.

I keep dreaming Nintendo will offer a call to ROM hackers to start doing Virtual Console translations. Then I could get paid for an otherwise unrewarding hobby(materially speaking).
They're too busy milking people with another version of Super Mario Bros. to even care. Even if the original is worth less than a penny these days. :p |

That would be 200 of most of your free time not just when you feel like it mind you  . If I pay money I want to see results quicker! lol. Oh and note I would gladly donate to the cause of any game translation I would be intrested in if it farthers the cause as well . |

But you will need all thatr bawls to get this done in the alloted time! What I didn't mention the deadline? 5 o clock sunday. Don't worry I will send the bawls and beer over night. Also I expect at least 5 jokes about sex incerted into the non-importent npc dialog! Maybe a fucks like a tiger thrown when when talking about one of the female characters. |
