Dont assume me like that. I don't know you and you don't know me and I don't assume anybody and the proof is need and I have. There is one:

The translated was supposed to say: Protoman: Stop! King! What are you doing in Dr. Wily's museum?

I found the line that most closely resembles that, and while "Stop! King!" is perfectly acceptable that last one is off, I think. If I'm thinking of the right line, it's:

そこまでだ! キング! ドクタ-ワイリ-の けんきゅうじょの つぎは はくぶつかんか?

Word for word it's:

There until is! King! Doctor Wily (possessive particle) laboratory (possessive particle) next (particle) museum (question particle)

I think your translator may be getting the first and second clauses of the last sentence confused. "Doctor Wily" modifies "けんきゅうじょ" (laboratory) not "はくぶつかん" (museum) so it's "Doctor Wily's Laboratory" not "Doctor Wily's Museum." The second clause "つぎは はくぶつかんか?" literally means "Is the museum next?" and the first clause is a modifier for "つぎ" or "next." So it's like "The museum is after Dr. Wily's Laboratory?"  I translated it as "Blues: That's far enough, King! First Dr. Wily's lab, now the museum?" which while not perfectly literal (a more literal translation would have had that last sentence substituted with "So the museum is next after Dr. Wily's laboratory?" but I thought the former would sound better) is a decent approximation of what's being said IMHO.

Which kind of makes sense, since the museum doesn't belong to Dr. Wily anyway, it's a regular museum of robots open to the public. (Though one wonders what lava pits are doing in a museum open to the public...)

I can understand how your translator made the mistake though, Japanese grammar is very weird compared to English and it's really easy to get confused when you're first starting out. (my first game translation was horrid. HORRID! Thank God I never released it to the public ^^;"";)

But if you find any other mistakes, please send 'em my way! Thanks in advance! Smiley

Sure, I will find other mistake as well but I think it is enough since you obvious know there are some inaccurate and accurate in this script.

I like you, why ? Because you are nice person and calm. I sure learn from you right now. Yeah, I did put it already in my rom for Doctor Wily's Lab but  it can be done as Stop! King! First Doctor Wily's Lab, is the museum next? in my script s what I just mentioned as "Stop! King! What are you doing in Dr. Wily's museum is tiny acceptable but not a good enough. I like mine the best as "Stop! King! First Doctor Wily's Lab, is the museum next ?"

I admire your work and your figure it out as much as my japanese friend and me too. Smiley

Now, Tile Molester is one I find out that can do that but I do not know how to use it and cannot figure it out how to reinsert it back into my snes for the title screen that I made from the scratch.

I did my drawing in scratch on photoshop and I want to reinsert it back into my snes rom. I understand that Tile Molester can do that but I cannot figure it out how to reinsert it back into my snes rom.

Well, in the easiest case you open the ROM in Tile Molester, browse to the tiles of the title screen, paste the matching tiles (8x8 bitmaps) from your graphic and save the ROM. There are a couple of catches though:

- You can use only the colors of the previous screen. Palette hacking is one way to fix that a bit.
- You must use the right palette indices. A bitmap from scratch might not have a palette, or a wrong one.

Yes, I already know about plaette colors. Also, my title screen is 256x224 for SFC.

I just click File and open the rom, browse to the titles of the title screen then paste the matching titles and save the rom, that's all ? I do not think so..there must be snes mode or something to correct this. I need this tile molester with help, please ? Thanks.

Am I the only person who gets dizzy just reading this? It's like the same looping question over and over and over again.

Except there is an extremely thorough help file that's included with Tile Molester. Have you read it?

Why didn't you just then append your question to one of the multiple other topics you created about this very same subject? A lot of really nice folk have been trying to help you and answer your questions, but it really does come across as though you're just skipping over anyone who's telling you that it's going to be a little more difficult than you might want it to be...

Exporting and importing bitmaps
... can be done from the edit menu: Copy To and Paste From, respectively. You can save and load bitmaps in a variety of formats. After exporting a chunk of graphics to a bitmap, you can edit it in a more powerful graphics application and import the bitmap back into Tile Molester again once you're satisfied.

Daniel, I am sorry and you are right about that. I will keep that in my mind for the next time to stick to the same thread in the near future.
That one ? I need step by step and it would be quicker.   Grin

No it wouldn't. If we give it to you "step by step", you don't learn anything and then you'll be back with the same question *next* time. Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime. Same difference.

How old are you?

We HAVE. There's at least 21 documents on the site about graphics hacking and you have the HELP FILE for the program at your disposal. There's nothing else anyone can do to help you short of physically doing it for you, which isn't going to happen. Okay? OKAY?!
