Neat! Incidently, I remeber hearing that Brain Lord wasn't so good. Is that accurate?

To be onest, I have never played it seriously. A friend of mine is translating it into Italian, so I used this occasion to make my first VWF.

Thanks Regarding the width-calculator tool of which we were talking about in chat, I'm making it a little prettier, and I'm going to release it soon.

That's awesome news. I'm sure a lot of people will put it to good use.

Missing a translator for the message files I took a break from Naruto Shippuuden Dairansen a while ago, but now started editing the graphics in need of translation... or rather, started putting together a font I'm planning to use for the graphical stuff in the menus and such: ... Say, where did you get that font? It looks pretty. I'd like to use it on a certain title screen project I have in mind. Is there a TTF version available?

I may take the squishy tiles out where they're not needed (leaving only "Intellect" with one). But the format is just about final. The squishy tiles are fine but you should shift "ll" right one pixel, it should look better, and make an "ili" on two tiles for Agility. If you end up not implementing a VWF I'd suggest using them everywhere possible or not using them at all, squishy tiles only stand out when they're used sparingly.

A few of the letters - I think the "K", "n" and "u", among others - were based on some font I've got somewhere... I can't find it anymore tho, might've been here in Windows, might've been Linux, don't know, sorry. If it's of any help, here's what I'm using for the game. Most of the letters are handmade (and it shows for some, ex. both "W" <.<), excluding those I mentioned above:

I was hoping for a bigger version because the title screen I'm thinking of is, well, huge. But I'll figure something out.

While I never beat it, I quite enjoyed Brainlord and it's on my list of games I intend to go back to at some point. I don't recall anything standing out as really bad about it.

More FFIV! First, I ran into a bug. Dunno how it was caused, but I fixed it by throwing all of my ASM mods into an earlier copy with WAY less ASM mods, and it worked. But like I said, I fixed it, somehow. I went through and put each tiny ASM mod in, one by one, to see what did it, and nothing did. So... >.> Anyway, I managed to hack the map locations box. It's not fully functioning yet (some places load weird strings onto the top row), but I managed to get it loading much larger strings: There's still some longer strings that won't fit. But it's a start. =D ~DS

- Extended menu in US version of CT. (Thanks to Vehek for posting the general area and 1 byte spot to get this thing going) Gemini said that the letter placement was "unpleasant", so I'm posting here about this. What suggestions do you guys have to setup the menu up so it's not so unpleasant?
