I'm just changing a few thousand things around, but still wanted to make it feel like the original Guardian Legend. It might be hard to tell immediately, but the screenshots I posted show custom versions of some of the game's bosses. This screenshot shows the new dungeons map:

Again, ignore the poor English; the script hasn't been edited at all yet, but it will. These are just to demonstrate that another section of code has been conquered. Oh and all of the code so far works perfectly on the real hardware, too. So you kids with flashcarts or mad soldering skills will be able to enjoy this the way it was intended to be. Wink

Looks nice. I like it. Smiley

Where did that font come from Red? That's my kind of font. It also looks quite familiar. Perhaps I should already know the answer, but don't.  Undecided\

Looks good  Smiley And I like the font as well,I hope to see more translations for genesis. The actual number of WIP projects doesn't make justice to this machine.

Yes. Yes, it does. I love my new flashcart.  Grin

As for the font, I'm glad everyone likes it. I lifted it from Streets of Rage 3. Wink

Those look GODLY! (is that a word? XD)  The VWF looks so much nicer than the one from SOR3.  This is one of the translations I've been looking forward to.  Keep up the good work RedComet.

I do hope you use the original name, Bare Knuckle 3 when editing the title since it sounds cooler and makes more sense since there are hardly any streets in the game. Tongue  It will be interested to see which enemy and weapons names you keep/change.  Some like Mona and Lisa are decent while others (too lazy to remember ^^'), well you know weren't very good.  I hope you use a mixer both but it won't matter which option you do, I'll still play the translated version.

Also having a chipped Wii rules since playing fan translated retro games on a TV with a Gamecube controller kicks ass.  I just can't stop playing Panel de Pon (damn addictive game).

To be fair SoR3 didn't have a VWF. It had a 8x16 FWF. Anyway, I conquered another tilemap last night:

I'm trying to find a nice handwritten cursive style font to use for Blaze's letter. If I can find one, I'll probably use that for that block of text. Otherwise, I'll stick with what I've got.

Anyway, I'm glad you like what you see. Smiley
