I have the C source code to a little ips program called 'universal ips', it compiles and works on Linux, so it should proably work on OS X as well. I'll see if I can dig up a link.

Found it. They even have a precompiled OS X binary someone contributed. Enjoy.

We have the DOS and Windows version of UIPS here. If there is a working OS X version, it should be added.

However, it would probably be best if KungFuFurby can run it through the SPC patching test first and verify it works correctly.

I generally use GUI applications, not command line applications, and the patcher I used for the Classic Mac was a GUI application. Sorry.

However, I can upload a zip file containing a first-note sticking SPC from King of Rally with a patch from CaitSith2 that I know works on the SPC set. Yes, I do SPC dumping. I will also include an MP3 file of what it's supposed to sound like.
