Hey DaMarsMan, any more news out of this one, or is it on the backburner in favor of DQ5?

Looking forward to both of them, either way.

I concur. I remember a msg saying something like "mid-September." I'm very patient, but I'm just wondering why it's almost 2 months later and still no sign of life from the game itself or the person in charge of finishing the project.

A quick "Here's where we're at." would be pretty awesome. Smiley

Actually DQ5's situation is pretty much the same as DQ3's. The original DQ5 on the SFC has a complete translation patch already, but not the remake. The original DQ3 was released in English already, but not this remake. Personally I'm more interested in the DQ3 remake cause the original's a bit hard to play while the original DQ5 is already fine, but then again, DQ5 being a PS2 game makes it interesting in terms of fan translation accomplishments and it's sure to be great too.

Anyone know the whereabouts to the script for this game?  My colleagues and I are interested to make a version of the translation at my university for a senior symposium project.  Translated or untranslated script it does not matter to me any script would be fine.

Thank you.

I wonder if I should toss Slime Morimori Dragon Quest's script up here. Nobody seems to want to translate it Sad

Not quite sure what needs to be retranslated. In general just look over the entire script to make sure it flows?  Also, any information on who previously translated a section of the script would be great (student, native speaker, professor).

Your welcome to put the Slime Mori Mori up there Gideon if you want. I'm trying to make this a centralized translation page for the Dragon Quest games.
