Tile Layer Pro

I am not able to find the correct one. I want to try Genesis and it's okay but not good enough. HELP ? Thanks!

You'll probably want to use the superior Tile Molester.

It's ok.

There is WSC in it but I can't see something very well.

There is 4BPP MSX/Genesis and I can see something but still not good enough.

Try gameboy format 2bpp.

I'm going to reiterate something I was told early in my RH career. Just because a format is labelled "Wonderswan Color" or "Genesis" does not mean that every game for those systems will show up properly in that format. Try EVERY format until you run out of formats to try; if you haven't found what you're looking for by then, it's compressed, and you're screwed. ^_^

Yes, it is for WS, not WSC.  Wink

Yes, I am aware of that. Unfortunately, you can't see anything at all for WSC. There's supposed to be some but everything is scramble and something is not right.  Shocked

Yes. I can't tell if Naruto understands or not. They just bit planed graphics. Those console names for different modes should never have been put there to begin with. They're just 'typical' modes used for that system, but by no means the only ones.

Also remember you can shift the graphics by pixel to align it. It's done using +- in tile layer pro. That makes a big difference in seeing something versus garbage as well.

If you've tried every mode and you can't see anything at all, why do you think something's wrong? It's probably compressed then. How about you put up a screenshot. Someone can probably tell you what your problem is by looking at it.

I tried hacking a WSC game before and I found like one graphic in the whole thing and I do know about different bitplanes and things. My hypothesis is that most of the graphics are compressed, so I'm putting that project on hold until I learn ASM for the WSC.

ASM for the WSC.

Wait... ASM for the WSC? So ASM coding changes depending on the system?

Not necessarily, it changes depending on the processor. Wink

But realistically, most systems have different processors, such as the GBA's ARM processor and the GB/GBC's z80 processor. I'm not sure what processor the wonderswan has.

It is there any possibility that WSC can use a bit plane arrangement not covered by any of the typical tools? That would be the only other possibility if it's even a possibility at all.

Eh, I don't think it does. I looked through a few wonderswan games and found bits and pieces of graphics, but mostly it was compressed, methinks.
