Maybe the reason it doesn't keep people's interest it's because the main character's name is Ralph! That alone makes me want to 'ralph'. *insert made up projectile vomit smiley here*
Well, we've got 3 people now with partial work for the game. So, if somebody does come along who wants to make a serious effort for it, it would be a sure thing to finish. It's only a matter of time.
Is his last name Wiggum? Does he say "I have a sword!" and pick his nose at random? :crazy: |

Heh.. My old Boss' name is Ralph. That dude is a weird one. I guess this game is only lacking a translator. The text parts are pretty much handled. Inserting and pointer recalculating is just as done.  |

It worked for that dragon quest game project, even if there was a bit more of a difference between the two than just names...heh. |

does it atleast let you choose your own name if you don't like the default one?
that was seriously VERY annoying, why did they take that out of the 'Tales of...' games that they released in the NAs
i don't see a problem with the name as long as you can always change it:
i don't like the name Lise from the trans of SD3, so i always change it to Riesz, which removes the problem. now if it however was a newer game that has VA, i can see it causing problems, if you changed the name of a person then that Audio track is now incorrect.
make it Ralph/Ralf/Rolph/Rolf or whatever, but as long as it IS interchangeable then people shouldn't complain. (edit: IMO)
