Well, I bought a copy anyway from that place I found online (link above) - it was only $20 and I was ordering DJ Portable Max, so now I'll trust that the translation will be out before the End of Time .

Did Lakuuna vanish again? His web site has been getting database errors for some time now - so either he's changing the site again because he's finished "yay!", or he's about to drop off the radar, which would suck but hey - it's his project/life.

I'm not dropping off the radar, but I will say that Lakuuna is gone. You can check my blog or the thread in Personal Projects if you want more info about Magna Carta.

Eheh, it is my second day. =P Though I can already read the alphabet, so I know the sounds.

:laugh: Korean -> English machine translation has a long ways to go.. It can occasionally get the words right, but the sentence order is always messed up.
More like, "Is that so?! Well, study hard!"
아 = Oh 그렇군요 = 그렇다 + 군 + 요 = That's so!/Is that so!? 그럼 = 그렇다 + 면 = 그러면 = If that is so 열심히 = 열심하다 + 히 = eagerly, diligently 해요 = 하다 + 여요 = do it
The ~ is just an informal stylistic thing to imitate extending the last syllable.

Well, that's because English doesn't usually place verbs at the end of sentences. Plus, particles would probably get completely messed up, since they're used as an addendum to a word in Korean where as they're structurally independent in English. Thanks for the little lesson Javis.

If you can use 열심히 in a sentence, your teacher will flip. Koreans really love that word. I think the greatest barriers are: 1. The abundance of homonyms (Is that 면 an if particle, is it a face, is it a noodle...) 2. The flexibility of sentence structure 3. The importance of context. There's a lot of use of 이, 그, 저 (this, that, that over there) to refer to things instead of naming them, as well as to reference things already said in the conversation. In my five-word line, I used that technique twice.

Yes, they do transfer their love for 열심한 people to a predilection to use the word diligent when speaking English as a second language.
It's simply that it is a very commonly used word and a highly valued trait in a person.

So.... hows the patch going xD!
Hahaha, i finally got to playing my copy of tears of blood/crimson stigmata. I'm pretty sure the english localization of crimson stigmata had a lot of content cut out of it, but it should give me somewhat of a background story to phantom avalanche right?
Good luck with the patch

It's not that Crimson Stigmata had a lot of content cut out, it's just that it's a really poorly done, not to mention hastily done, translation. The gameplay is the same as the original, which is to say, the gameplay is bad.
As for the translation, no time right now, college takes precedence.
