I have to admit I'm a little disappointed.. I really did want to help out with this, but PSX hacking is just a bit above my level. Tongue

Maybe one day when all of us are a bit more skilled, and Gemini's not the only PSX hacker, we will come back to this project..

Except that we weren't nearly at a stage where we need any kind of ASM hacks. All we needed was basic programming stuff, a font dumper/inserter and the same for the script. This was in absolutely no way PSX specific, so anyone who tells me he didn't help since PSX is above their levels simply lies and looks for a easy excuse.

How's this excuse: I'm not good enough at programming? It took me months to code a barely functional dumper/inserter that only works for one game. Tongue

Knew it. Such things never work out. Great ideas spoiled by human inadequacy.

I've seen that pic before. >_>

Kinda reminds me of when I was a kid...I was always putting stuff together with construction paper and Scotch tape. My grand dream was to assemble a fully-transforming Unicron, or a three-foot-tall model of Planetron (from an old kids' book where a boy gets a toy robot that turns into a giant spaceship), though I never had quite the structural reinforcement to succeed. (But to my credit, I did build three different Voltrons and two Enterprise-D's.)

Many times in my life I've had grand visions but inadequate means of completing them. As they would say in the H2G2 universe, "it's just life".

I liked the idea of a group project, but I felt it was a little limited in scope. Maybe in the future a new project that is more interesting and varied can be started.
