If the page is correct, this site doesn't allow uploads anymore, so I can't submit my hack.  I need a place that will host my hack for free untill somebody can find a more pemenent home for it.  Thanks if anybody is able to help.

I'm pretty sure I told you that I can host it for ya. If not, then I need to bang my head against a wall. Grin

So yeah, I want to get my Blaster Master hack out sometime within the next 5 miniutes.  I can't seem to log onto IRC chat though.

How about a pages.google.com website?

I don't trust them enough to do it myself, but maybe others will.

I don't really need a website.  I just need the space so I can link to it.

Done.  Don't forget to tell me what you think!

Edit:  It's been uploaded.  I also made a post at the dreaded Acmlms, so if you don't have a phobia of that board, you can grab it there first.

www.googlepages.com is being used by a few of the folks here. Ryusui and Euclid come to mind. Apologies if I typoed those names.

Edit: Yeah... I knew something was off. Sorry.

I don't see anything about them not hosting hacks anymore. But otherwise, I use geocities. Plus this forum has an attatchment feature.

Don't use attachment space for patches, upload them somewhere else. Because of this stuff the attachment space of the board is full and nothing can be posted anymore. I guess that's what he meant we wouldn't take more patches.

Maybe you should set up some kinda autoexpire for hosting of zip files. That and create a maximum size cap.

Now that Nightcrawler's back, maybe he could work on the patch uploading code so you don't have to host them elsewhere.

You can -still- submit patches like always. Our rules apply however, so no unfinished WIPs and hacks which don't meet our submission criteria. For sharing this stuff you'll still have to use your own webspace even after the code got revised. I have a feeling there is some sort of misunderstanding around Shocked

To clear things up...

You can submit hacks to the site normally
You can talk about everything hack related on the board
For sharing WIPs and hacks like sprite changes which don't meet our criteria you'll have to link to your own webspace - please don't use the board attachment space for that
When the submission code is revised you'll be able to update your own submissions, aside from that nothing will change from now.

I hope that's clear now? If not don't hesitate to ask before more "we don't accept new files" rumors circle around...
