The moral of the story: Translation hackers don't take orders. They take suggestions.

This belongs in the Translation Requests topic over on the Gaming Discussion board. Me, I have no interest in Angelic Layer; somebody here might, but you can assume that if anybody here takes up your request, it won't be me.

Fan translation is a labor of love: we don't get paid for this stuff, and as a result we typically work on games that either 1. interest us personally or 2. interest the gaming community as a whole. If you want to see Angelic Layer done in a timely fashion, you have two options: either pray that one of us is an Angelic Layer fan willing to devote a year or so of their time to a project (side note: I don't know what kind of game Angelic Layer is, and I don't know what platform it's on - no thanks to you - all I frankly know about the game is that it's obviously based on either the manga or the anime, but a translation of any significant project within two months is pretty much unheard of), or learn the ropes of romhacking yourself.

To that latter option, I warn you: there is no Easy Button for this stuff. Romhacking takes mastery of numerous utilities, functional mathematical capabilities and some programming knowledge ranging from basic to sophisticated. Not to mention you'll need an actual script translator in some capacity...

Cyber Knight 2 (two months.) Live-A-Live (two months.) Sylvan Tale (two months.) Cave Story (three weeks.)

This is true. Gideon's got the most talent out of any programmer I've ever known- and I've met quite a few in my time. He's a true legend- and honestly I hope that he understands the incredible service he has done for us all.
