I Wiki'd this, having never played the game myself...
Seeing how the only changed characters are cannon fodder enemies, it's not really an issue. About on the level of, say, the crosses, cigar-smoking crow and bloody zombies in Mother 1. Hell, the one that near-flashes you isn't even...real, if you catch my drift. -_-;

Ah, the tranny? Funny story, he/she was originally meant ot be a she, but Capcom of America told COJ that people wouldn't take too well to a woman being slapped around in a video game.

Sounds like Bare Knuckle 3/Streets of Rage 3 only Sega of America cut out the leather clad buttburglar Ash entirely (and a shit pot of the story).

Well they cut Ash because they presumably didn't want to feel the wrath of the gays and lesbian coalition (or whatever it's called). As for the story, I have no idea. They also changed the palettes for the characters for no reason whatsoever.

Note that I did not ask about the dude. Their reasoning for changing that was obvious. So unless the story revolved around collecting gay sex slaves that has no bearing on my original question. Edited for accidental offensiveness. |
