So I got kind of bored and decided to make a list of games by systems for people who are working on various systems and I think I got most of them. I know for a fact that there's a ton of DS translations going on, but I don't really take most of them seriously. It's certainly debatable whether or not some of these projects are even active, but I would reckon most of them made headway in the translations and/or programming aspects. There's good amount of variety present, but the majority of projects are for the NES and SNES. So the list.

I intend to devote a healthy portion of the summer to Rejoice, Ladystalker, Ys 5, Romasaga 2, and Madara 2 at the very least Smiley We'll see how much I get done, but in the past 18 hours or so I've basically solved all but three of Rejoice's remaining issues - and those last issues are name entry, some untranslated text which I'm about to drop on the language board, and the continuation of the script edit.

Working on a playable (gameplay-related text translated, story text left untranslated for now) release for Dragon Force 2 over the next couple weeks. Pennywise, could you change "Faustwolf" to "Verve Fanworks" on Dragon Force 2 and Tian di Jie? That'll make it seem more like I'm not an attention hogger.     The list of major contributors to both is pretty big these days.

Wow, it's good to see how many active projects are ongoing!

I don't know if it's just me, but that font for the Front Mission translations makes me cringe. Also seems like they have font spacing issues.

Thanks. I know someone (RC) will probably say "We'd remember your projects if you released a patch", but whenever Deuce gets off his arse, ActRaiser 2 will be ready. I'm just waiting for him to edit the script, then I throw the title screen in, and it's ready for testing.

What about Demon's Blazon? That's one of your projects that has always intrigued me the most.

As for Deuce, looks like he finally parted ways with ol' Nightwolve and went his own way for Ys Origin, which is now going into beta with his translation being used.

Thanks for the recap list!

Just one quick thing to correct in the first post: AGTP is working on Romancing SaGa 2, not the first (DarknessSavior is), if I'm not mistaken?

They definitively need to implement a proportional font for FM Alternative. The T E R R A N I G M A effect still looks as horrid as it did back in 1996.

The only real issue with Demon's Blazon is the intro/endings. I managed to hack the 16x16 font into an 8x16 one, but I still don't have enough space to put the full translated intros and endings in there. I've tried moving the pointers and whatnot over to some empty space, but it always breaks.

I may settle down someday and just code a DTE/MTE for it or something, so that it'll fit. I dunno.

Doing some work on Hammerin' Harry for SNES. Getting the script inserter finished up.

Still not sure how to go about the title screen. I'd guess it'd be more consistent to try to put the NES Harry logo in there. Gonna be tedious with the wood-grain background and also different dimensions of the logos.

Replacing the voice samples (ikuze/Let's Get Buy! and teyandee/Ouch!) is being my capability though.

Siiiiigh. I really need to finish Akira.

I mean, it's -done-, I just have to edit the crap out of it to squeeze it into the limited space. And that's after the MTE. I'm amazed I got all the menus/options working flawlessly. It's just the dialogue now.

It's just so tedious, and I'm so ADD that it's hard to sit down and re-read the scripts over and over and over again.

Anyone else have this problem? How do you get past it?

Hmm, Akira. Unless I'm mistaken can't the ROM just be expanded and the text split between banks? That should solve most if not all of your woes.
