It's funny that you should mention smb1 and duckhunt.  When I was doing SMBDis, someone had made the claim that there were two versions of it, dubbed PRG0 and PRG1.  As it turns out, what everyone thought was PRG1 was in fact a dump of SMB1's program ROM data from the 3-in-1 (SMB1/Duck Hunt/World Class Track Meet).

Also, when I went looking for SMB1's program ROM data in the SMB1/Duck Hunt PRG-ROM and found it, I did a binary comparison.  It matches the SMB1 program ROM exactly.

Wait... PRG means it's a dump of ... No nevermind... It's only for this case that the game's data is from a compilation, right?

I reckon I should of bought the Nintendo system that had the smb1-w-donkey kong cart.
I did have several smb1-w-duckhunt-&-tetris smb1-w-duckhunt-&-trackmeet  smb1-w-duckhunt-&-Nesworldclassoccer,
But I like got robed why some one would still Nintendo carts is beyond me. I had several of each one.
I'll have to hit ebay and start my collection over this time I'll try and get smb1 by its self so I can see it for myself.
It's all good, catch ya'll later.

Is anyone aware of a hack of Duck Hunt?

How ironic that a game literally attached to the most widely-hacked game of all time has thus far escaped the tentacles of the Community...

As far as I know, there are two- Lunar Hunt and Osama Hunt. Both of them are just basic graphics hacks.

That's somewhat of a relief! For a minute there, I was afraid I'd trigger a phalanx of I-Mockery-style hacks sharing the same title and premise, essentially promoting genocide against my people...

Well I was looking thorough the nes carts I have left and I noticed that all of them read on the back Nintendo 1985,
Except for the two smb1-w-duckhunt And smb-w-duckhunt-&-trackmeet they both read just plain Nintendo, no date at all.
Anyway I thought this was kind of weird.
The other ones that read Nintendo 1985 where narc, Jordan vs bird, anticipation and wizards and warriors 2.
