Tile Molestor has better image importing functions. TLP has a habit of mangling palettes.
No, it doesn't. You just have to use the correct palette for things to work.

Also, Tile Molester people, do you guys know how to get it to save a palette? That's the main thing I like about TLP better, because with a tool I made I can dump the palette data from VBA and save it to a TLP palette. Very handy. Smiley

There is a sneaky way. Create a placeholder file with the graphics you want to edit and insert the contents of the palette data into some free space. Use the "Import from This File" function to load the palette data. That's how I inserted my title screen for Sylvanian Families 4.

The insert from file doesn't seem to work in my version of Tile Molester. I found the palette data in the ROM and tried it, but it didn't work.

I saved a font in .bmp format, and tried opening it in TLP. It not only doesn't support the format, but it also comes up weird when I forced it to open it anyway. Renaming it to a format that it supports (ie .nes) does the same.

Of course it doesn't work. Changing a file extension does not change the file's structure.  It's still a BMP regardless of how you name the extension.

Kinda thought so, but I thought that perhaps the data would work in TLP, and that it was just being stubborn about not supporting the opening of BMPs. Without knowing about the "Import BMP" option, of course. -.-

Funny, I tried that today when VirtualDubMod didn't want to open that one video... (even with AviSynth)

Damn you Microsoft and your ASF! ò_Ó
