There's a bunch of hacks that make the Super Metroid redesign look like a kiddie game.

Mostly I've seen Chinese folks do hacks and translations... I doubt the Japanese would want to translate US-only GBA/XBox games... :p

Now that's something I'd like to see Smiley.

I used to know of a Japanese Rockman hacking scene, I lost the URL a while back but I found a few of the hacks on another page and added them to the database:

Rockman 2000
Rockman Exile

Rockman Exile is interesting because it's a Mega Man II hack that translates the game back into Japanese.

Speaking of Rockman 2 games, I need to know how the Rock-e editor work. I don't get it. And I wonder is the editor better than Visine.

Couldn't barely understand their readme.

It's pretty to use actually, just click a tile here and there. You can use the Megaman 2 US ROM also. When I reformat my computer it doesn't work but when I upgrade my computer, the editor runs fine. Here's what the editor looks like...

Here's a site where the Japanese SMB1 hackers hang out. Somma the sites have a message board. There's some real gems in that site.  Grin

Thanks for the info Googie. Only if I could upgrade my own computer to WinXP. Costs me up to $500 to do it after I put my Win98 files into a scanner.

I think the MegaFLEX is also a same problem on my Win98. When I tried to install libraryfiles.exe to make the editor work, it spreads the virus causing it to have a error message.

Costs me $85 to restore it and I did back in January, but at least most of the editors work only for XP.
