How do you find a pointer in an exe file? Each system (snes, gba, etc) seems to have a different way of structuring pointer data, but unlike the snes gameboy or nes there there is little to no information in regards to PC games, or at least nothing that I can easily find.

The game I am trying to edit is Hack9 if that helps.

Well, Windows generally uses a format known as PE. The information is out there. Just... don’t expect anything you read on it to be very forthcoming with information on how to mod stuff. Docs are mostly focused on how to slap them together.
