Not sure if it should just be posted in the titlescreen thread, but I wanted to make a small request.

Working on Momotarou Densetsu for Famicom.


I wonder if somebody could design some replacement store signs, kinda old Japanese-like. (probably more later)
I think I would actually need four: Teahouse, Inn, Castle, Armory.
Hanging above doors, the roof uses the top 3 pixels of each 16x16 tile (so, with the sign border, leaving 12 tall x 14 wide for image, I guess).

I THINK the one I said shiro/Castle is more likely to be shichiire/pawn shop.

Tea-house, pawn shop and armory on the left in that order. The three on the far right are all potential inn signs (supposed to be a moon, a bed and just plain old "inn").

With that town's palette I think they look pretty good. Without the town's palette, it's hard to see the anti-aliasing I put into the symbols, so it doesn't look as nice. (Mockup in link if you click here)

Don't feel obligated to use them or anything if you don't like them.

This one is a gambling game, so maybe a jewel or gem icon in a basket/nest or something. Or a question mark in a nest since
chance instead of skill is involved.
