I just can't figure this one out.  :banghead:  So I was wondering if anybody else has any ideas on how to fix this.

I'm working with an 8×8 font, and the accent in Dèf runs into the j above it.

I haven't even started on the Niveau problem because I'm hung up on this.

Does anybody have any ideas on how I can draw it better so it doesn't suck?  I'm at my wits end.

There's only one color available.
I can extract the font if that's necessary.

Right.  I can just chop the ‘j’!  Thanks, man.

Actually, your ‘j’ looks better; it has a dot.  I'll just use that one. ¦ )

Eidt:  I was just hung up on this because the è was the new character here and that was what I was trying to change.  I wish there was a way to make the è look better.

There isn’t much you can do about the “e” without smashing it into unrecognizable oblivion.

Let the grave accent touch the e (you don’t have much room to work with, anyway). The accent needs to have a little height to look different from a dot, sort of (same goes with the acute accent).
