One of my current translation projects (Ultra Baseball Jitsumeiban 2) the umpire's voice is in Japanese. I prob wouldn't bother w/ it except I have english samples from the previous game  Wink

So I a need a tool (or a way) to find and extract the PCM samples. From what I recall PCM samples do not save in the save states (hence some SPC music that utilized PCM samples would be missing those).

Any info would be apperiated.

The samples are encoded in BRR blocks.

See also snesbrr and SNESSOR.

That was the easy part. You'll still need to find the sounds first, maybe through corruption or tracing. Tongue

I seem to be lucky as it ripped most (if not all) the needed samples from UBBJ2 so I should be able to find those OK. The downside is snessor won't rip any from the Eng ROMs...yeah I may need to do some extra work on that or simply find some samples I could use (maybe from a PS2 game or something since BB is common).
