Ok, so I have a problem I have this complete hack for Super Mario World which I want to submit. I have the game, readme and screenshots which I've uploaded to MegaUpload.com. Problem is the links won't be accepted because they are not direct links to the files. Does anyone know where I can upload it too that will be accepted?

In the meantime here's the links to my complete hack, Super Mario World: Death Land:

Use Fileden. It provides a direct link and then after that you won't have to worry about the fileden links (it's uploaded here)

According to this:

First and foremost, you must submit a patch, ROM submissions aren't acceptable at all. You should store your patch, a readme, and any other necessary files in a compressed archive, Zip is the most common, RAR and 7Zip are also acceptable. RHDN's submission form cannot retrieve files from your computer, you must upload them somewhere. URLs to files must be a direct link, meaning when that URL is entered in a browser a download should start. URLs to sites such as Rapidshare/Megaupload are not acceptable and these submissions will be rejected outright.

Otherwords you need to zip up your patch and the readme together.

Thanks for the suggestion but it seems they've closed it to the public.

Now I just need to find somewhere other than fileden or wait for it to come back Smiley

* Kiyoshi Aman suggests his website, and notes that if you choose to use it you'll need to ping him so he can give the relevant permissions.

Here you go:
http://www.fileden.com/files/2008/1/5/1682029/SMW_Death_Land.zip

Now it should be okay for submitting.

No offence, but this hack looks bad. I see cut off tiles that should have an ending block, and Kaizo style traps. :/

But hey, that is just my opinion.

Thank you for your feedback. I will try to fix and update by hack to fix any problems with it.

I'll try and fix the tiles where I can, but I don't think I want to replace everything. I tried to make this game more about level design and not just looks. I feel that if I had been limited with having to make everything look right then the game wouldn't have been as good. If I was an artist I would have changed the graphics and made everything look a whole lot better. Sadly though, I'm not good with graphics so I have to make things look the best I can with what I've got.
