So I am using SNESPal to edit the CLUT in Tomb Raider II for the PSX and ran into a weird bug that I haven't experienced in the past.

I am trying to change the color (10 13 12) to (17 13 7).

SNESPal reports that there are 22 matches for (10 13 12) and 31 matches for (17 13 7).

There should be a total of 53 matches for (17 13 7) when this is done.

A strange bug occurs when I change all 22 matches of (10 13 12) that I find at first to (17 13 7). What happens is another 2 matches of (10 13 12) pop up out of nowhere.

At first I thought maybe I forgot to change a few matches. So I did this all over again and double-checked each entry of (10 13 12) and confirmed that all 22 matches (that I get at first) have been changed to (17 13 7). Then I search for (10 13 12) again and 2 matches pop up out of nowhere. I don't bother changing the extra 2 matches.

So I search for (17 13 7). I should get 53 matches for (17 13 7) but instead I get 52.

What the Hell is going on?
