Having trouble patching Der Langrisser, and since the previous topic was locked I have to make a new one. Sorry bout that.
I have the correct file and I've removed the header. File Size is 2097152 bytes, which is correct as far as I can tell.
I have tsukuyomi v0.01.
I have dl.ups patch file.
Run tsukuyomi, do existing, use ups and smc files.
And I get
To directly patch source file, a temporary file is being made. Upon successful patching, the target file will be replaced with this.
Applying patch file 'C:\\Documents and Settings\\Owner\\Desktop\\bsnes\\dl.ups' ... Reading file 'C:\\Documents and Settings\\Owner\\Desktop\\bsnes\\Der Langrisser (J) (V1.1).smc' ... Target file is 'C:\\Documents and Settings\\Owner\\Desktop\\bsnes\\Der Langrisser (J) (V1.1).smc.utm' ... Patch application will take approximately 0 minute(s), 2 second(s). Please be patient ... UI will not be responsive during this time.
Failed! Input file is invalid.
-------
I'm sure it's something stupid that I'm just over looking, but I don't know what. Sorry if this seems retarded to some, just trying to figure this out and wondering if I could get some direction.

Nvm, as soon as I posted that I checked up on some things and figured out the problem.
In case anyone else has the same problem I'll go ahead and post what it was. And yes it was a stupid overlook.
Basically what happened was I tried patching while the header was still on. Naturally it didn't work. Then I removed the header and tried patching again, but it still didn't work. The problem was, that in the previous patch attempt my dl.ups file had been overwritten and had been replaced with a dl.ups file that was 1 byte in size and needed to be redownloaded.
Like I said, extremely retarded. A simply overlook.
Anyways, thanks for the attempted help. I guess this can be closed. Thanks guys.

Sounds like a bug in Tsukuyomi. If it encounters an error it shouldn't be overwriting the file.
What is the deal with that name, by the way? Is it Japanese for "Lunar" or something?

There's no code in Tsukuyomi to open the UPS patch in write mode ... how odd. Maybe it was some sort of memory corruption on the failed patch attempt?
Meh, oh well. Sorry for the trouble, glad you got it working.
