Okay, here it goes.

I had never heard of Der Langrisser before a few days ago when I started playing it on my someone elses computer. I got halfway or part way through the game and then the rest was untranslated. So I looked it up and was naturally brought here I downloaded a new copy of the game and made sure it was the filename and size specified in the translation patch txt so I am pretty sure it doesn't have a header.

I happen to be on Mac OS X and found the OS X ups patcher but everytime I try to patch it, it fails.

I'm not very well versed in Rom hacking I just really want to play this game. I'm almost sure I have the right copy of the game and I am considering the possibility that the Ups patcher for OS X isn't working properly.

If any one has any insight or alternatives to provide I would very much appreciate it.

Read the readme file that came with the patch, if you are still having trouble, then go to the translation section of this website (in the instance that you may not have the proper patch)  If you have the right versions of everything, and you have read the readme and it still does not work, PM me, and I will do my best to assist you.  I highly recommend you not make any more post  in this thread.

Edit: Make sure you are using bsnes http://byuu.cinnamonpirate.com/bsnes/ obviously the mac variation.

PS. please do not expect a hasty response, I have family issues to take care of for most of the day.
