I don't know what the heck is going on here. I was already aware that NO$GBA doesn't like Wan Wan Meitantei for some reason: the game likes to freeze at inopportune times, something it doesn't do in VisualBoy Advance.

But now I'm discovering that my latest batch of hacks are causing the game to freeze or glitch in NO$GBA (while, of course, VBA runs the game with no issue) in other places. So, does anybody have any clue what's happening? I don't want to think that the debugger I paid fifteen bucks for is suffering from inaccuracy problems, but unless WWM is somehow so shoddily-made that a "proper" emulator rejects it, it seems like the only possible conclusion...

If the rom works on real hardware then it must be a bug in NO$GBA but sadly the author hasn't been seen or heard from in months so it's unlikely to get fixed Sad

Yeah..... NO$GBA is an emulator that is quite buggy like:

Some Game Sounds get a little off-pitched
Some ROM Images Crashes Even though it's a clean copy eg. FF I & II

etc.....

Are you using a real bios image? It's essential.

There are problems in DS emulation, but GBA should be 99,9% compatible if you use a Bios.

I'd look for a BIOS for NO$GBA right now if I were at all certain how to actually load one. Do I just name it GBA.ROM, stick it in the directory and make sure the appropriate option is selected?

Yeah, that's the name it should have. At least that's the name in the INI file.
