Good grief.. SO many Tales of-games out there with multiplayer-option (2-4 players), but so many are only released in Japan.. However, there are SOME translations out there, either finished or on-going, for some of the Japan-only Tales of-games as well as 1 undub release.

But heck.. All these translations are spread around, so it is quite so annoying to keep a track on all of them.. So my point with this topic is to gather ALL Tales of-games with multiplayer-option that has translation projects into one place. IF any of you can help out to complete the list, it'd be awesome! I am starting to get really bored of scouting for a multiplayer Tales of-game that is getting translated while some are being dropped.. So yeah, if you've got a Tales of-game that got a translation or an undub release/on-going project, list it here.

First off, here's a complete list of all (remakes/side stories/spin-offs included) Tales of-games WITH multiplayer-option (EXCLUDING all mobile, PSP and GBA/GBC Tales of-games):

Main:
- Tales of Destiny (PSX)
- Tales of Eternia / Tales of Destiny 2 (PSX)
- Tales of Destiny 2 (PS2)
- Tales of Symphonia (GC)
- Tales of Rebirth (PS2)
- Tales of the Abyss (PS2)
- Tales of Innocence (DS)
- Tales of Vesperia (X360)
Spin-offs/side stories/remakes:
- Tales of Phantasia (PSX)
- Tales of Symphonia (PS2)
- Tales of Destiny (PS2)
- Tales of Destiny Dir. Cut (PS2)
- Tales of the Tempest (DS)
- Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World (Wii)

Japan-only (games that will not be released in NA) Tales of-games with possible/wanted translation projects:
- Tales of Phantasia (PSX)
- Tales of Destiny (PS2)
- Tales of Destiny 2 (PS2)
- Tales of Rebirth (PS2)
- Tales of Innocence (DS)
- Tales of the Tempest (DS)

Obviously, I've only listed Tales of-games with multiplayer-option (3-4 players) during battle mode. All games has been tested & confirmed that they've got multiplayer-option available during battle mode. All the other Tales of-games that aren't on the above list, either got a NA release or they will get a NA release in the future.

So far, there's only 1 game with an undub-patch (eng texture, jap voice) available:
- Tales of the Abyss (PS2) ** There's even a hardsub-patch available for this game, along with a fix!

Now, onto the Japan-only Tales of-games with multiplayer that either got an on-going or finished translation project. NOTE: Here's the part where I definitely need your help to complete the list. I am looking for all sort of translation projects. Some projects are more focused on the speech text, some focus on the menu's text while some focus on both. So yeah, list them all?

- Tales of Phantasia (PSX) ==> FINISHED, working and a reliable english patch for ToP can be found by clicking here! Downloads available.
- Tales of Innocence (DS) ==> FINISHED and a working patch. IPS-patch. Not everything has been translated when it comes to menus, item descripts and skill descripts. Read about the patch itself by clicking here! Downloads available.
- Tales of Destiny 2 (PS2) ==> FINISHED and a nicely menu-translated patch, but NO script translation. Locate the patch by clicking here! Downloads available.
- Tales of Innocence (DS) ==> ON-GOING translation project for ToI can be found by clicking here! ** This will be THE patch to get for ToI when it's finished! No downloads available yet.
- Tales of the Tempest (DS) ==> ON-GOING translation project for TotT can be found by clicking here! ** This is the only translation project for TotT. Started recently. Most like a while until it's finished.

That should cover all the needed parts, I'd say.. If I've forgotten some details, let me know and I'll clear it up asap! I hope that this'll help other multiplayer hungry Tales of-fanboys & girls to keep a better track on all of the Tales of-games..

You need to fix your links. They all have additional "http://" when they shouldn't.

I think that's caused by the forums software when you preview your post before submitting it. It's happened to me several times too...

I have to say something really quick and nitpicky here--Tales of Eternia was never released as Tales of Destiny 2, anywhere. It was, however, released in America as "Tales of Destiny II."

"That's the same thing, you dumbass!"

Actually, no. As is common Internet knowledge, there's a real sequel to the original Tales of Destiny called "Tales of Destiny 2" (With an Arabic numeral) in Japan. In America, however, thanks to He-Man we have "Tales of Destiny II." It's a reeeally delicate issue, like with Earth Bound (Mother 1) and EarthBound (Mother 2).

This assholish post was brought to you by some random freeloader.  Tongue

If you hadn't brought it up, someone (read: me) eventually would.

Also, I fail to see the point of this thread. One can easily find out what translation projects there are for Tales games by just searching around a bit. And why so much emphasis on the fact that the games are multiplayer? Tongue

Neat topic. But you forgot one:
Tales of Legendia (PS2)

Tales of Legendia is only single-player. Unfortunately.

Ah, gotcha. I'll echo the question, why so hung up on multiplayer?

So the psp ports weren't multiplayer?

Also you failed to list the ongoing Tales of Phantasia (PSX) translation, since both Tales of Innocence translations were listed. Alot of people are still are putting a hold of the Absolute Zero translation and waiting for the Phantasian Productions one (myself included).
