Hello,

I'm trying to hack Rockman 4~6 to remove their soundtrack. I was successful with rockman3 thanks to the help of MatrixZ and his suggestion to hexedit offset $2C17F to $60. That worked wonders and was exactly what I was looking for. However, I feel embarrassed asking yet again, but this time for three games >.<. If there are any experts out there familiar with these game's hex values, your help would be greatly appreciated. Just want to remove all the music yet retain the sound effects. Thanks in advance.

Why don't you see what you changed in Rockman 3 and look for the same thing in RM4-6?

Hyperlink

There's enough to do it for 4 and 5 in there, if you can hack I guess.

Playing a game with absolutely no music, but sound effects only? Why? that's strange.

MM3 4 5 and 6's music engine is completely 100% the same with no differences.

So put a 60 for the following places on the games:

2C17F mm 3
3C17F mm 4
3017F mm 5
6817E mm 6
