Kind of a semi-hard one for me, the only game-specific utility I've spent any time in was PK Hack.

By intuitive I mean not bogged down with technical crap like PK Hack's whole text code bonanza. I think I mean something along the lines of Lunar Magic, which I haven't used but a friend of mine has. Not necessarily entirely point-and-click, though.

The game genres which I am primarily interested in: platformers, RPGs, and SRPGs. I know I could probably just look around on the site, but I'm looking for something along the lines of personal recommendations. Any assistance is appreciated! I only ask this because I think my story ideas would be better realized in a game than something like a written story. Or an RPG Maker game (*shudders at the thought of trying to work with THAT again*).
