Is it even possible?
In both games there is a data.000 file which contains all the files there is a compession applied to that file, to my knowledge the compression seems to be LZ77 but I can't extract any data at all.Has anyone tried to hack/translate this game before?

Hacking every game is possible. Just find out how it works... and don't expect the game to hack itself. It's not unusual that a game doesn't use known standards. Use a debugger to find out how it decompresses and accesses the data.

Another thing to consider, what version of the game are you hacking? The US version or one of the Japanese versions?

No I don't want to hack the game myself but I downloaded the game today and I thought I'd take a look at it's file system and it was kinda strange.About the debugger can you recommend me a good one? I'm not a lot in assembly myself but I'd like to learn a couple of things.
